Did you know that since April 2015, you don't have to wait on the phone to speak to your GP surgery?  Just like online banking, you can look at your GP records on a computer, a tablet or a smartphone, using a website or an app.  You can choose to: Book and cancel appointments, order repeat prescriptions online and look at part of your GP records online.  Ask at reception on how to sign up for these services.

Named GP - with effect from 1 April 2015 all patients will have a named GP who will have overall responsiblity for the care and support provided for them.  This does not prevent you from seeing any GP in the Practice as you currently do.  If you wish to know who your named GP is please ask our Reception Team, GP or Practice Nurse.

Travel Vaccinations

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment with the Practice Nurse approximately eight weeks prior to travel to plan your immunisations.  Please also complete a Travel Questionnaire either online or pick one up from our reception.  The Travel Questionnaire must be completed and returned to the Practice at least five working days before your appointment.  This will allow the Practice Nurse to check your requirements and/or contact you in case of query.  Please check with your travel agent what would be required if you make a late booking as some vaccines need to be given at least 10 days proir to commencement of your holiday.   There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below.

Europe Europe & Russia North America North America
Central America Central America South America South America
Caribbean Caribbean Africa Africa
Middle East Middle East Central Asia Central Asia
East Asia East Asia Australasia Australasia and Pacific

Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge.  This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS.
