Did you know that since April 2015, you don't have to wait on the phone to speak to your GP surgery?  Just like online banking, you can look at your GP records on a computer, a tablet or a smartphone, using a website or an app.  You can choose to: Book and cancel appointments, order repeat prescriptions online and look at part of your GP records online.  Ask at reception on how to sign up for these services.

Named GP - with effect from 1 April 2015 all patients will have a named GP who will have overall responsiblity for the care and support provided for them.  This does not prevent you from seeing any GP in the Practice as you currently do.  If you wish to know who your named GP is please ask our Reception Team, GP or Practice Nurse.

General Data Protection Regulation

On Friday 25th May 2018 the General Data Protection Regulation came into force.  This regulation ensures that the Practice will have processes in place which ensure that all information held about patients and staff is secure.  For further information please see the Practice Privacy Notice accessible under Policies on the left hand side of this web page.

Do you think you need physiotherapy?

You can see a Physiotherapist without having to see a GP first

We are pleased to announce that from 12th January 2018, we will be introducing Physio 1st, a new self-referral physiotherapy service which will initially run for 6 months.  This is for NEW ONSET muscular, joint and back problems.  (If you are already waiting for an appointment to see a Physiotherapist, this service is not the best way for us to help you).

Please speak to one of our Receptionists to book in.  You will then be given an appointment with an experienced Physiotherapist for an initial assessment (for those aged 18 and over).

If you need urgent care or advice when the Practice is closed  please dial 111.

When you call NHS 111 you will be assessed, given advice and directed to the local service that can help you.

Calls to the NHS 111 service are free from both landlines and mobiles.

What is NHS 111?

NHS 111 will help you access urgent local health services when you need them and out of hours.  You should call NHS 111 if you need medical help fast, but it's not a 999 emergency  You don't know who to call for medical help or you don't have a GP to call  You think you need to get to A&E or another NHS urgent care service or you require health information or reassurance about what to do next
