Noticeboard

Did you know that since April 2015, you don't have to wait on the phone to speak to your GP surgery?  Just like online banking, you can look at your GP records on a computer, a tablet or a smartphone, using a website or an app.  You can choose to: Book and cancel appointments, order repeat prescriptions online and look at part of your GP records online.  Ask at reception on how to sign up for these services.

Named GP - with effect from 1 April 2015 all patients will have a named GP who will have overall responsiblity for the care and support provided for them.  This does not prevent you from seeing any GP in the Practice as you currently do.  If you wish to know who your named GP is please ask our Reception Team, GP or Practice Nurse.

Prescriptions Charges and Exemptions

Extensive exemption and remission arrangements protect those likely to have difficulty in paying charges (NHS prescription and dental charges, optical and hospital travel costs).

The NHS prescription charge is a flat-rate amount which successive Governments have thought it reasonable to charge for those who can afford to pay for their medicines.  Prescription prepayment certificates (PPCs) offer real savings for people who need extensive medication.
